[Trailer] ‘Venom’ Gets Its First Trailer

Venom

This fall, the Spider-verse is getting a new movie. Fans have been anticipating the arrival of Venom, and the movie’s first trailer is now here. Even though Venom is not part of the MCU, it does exist in the same universe as Spider-Man: Homecoming.  Yesterday, the official Twitter account for the film tweeted out a poster of the movie with nothing more than the word, “Tomorrow.”

True to word, the trailer premiered this morning, and here it is:

The film, directed by Ruben Fleischer,  stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, the host of an alien symbiote that gives him incredible powers. It also stars Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, and Riz Ahmed.

Venom premieres in theaters October 5, 2018.
