[Preview] Action Lab: Danger Zone’s 11/15 Release: MISBEGOTTEN: RUNAWAY NUN #3

This Wednesday, Action Lab Entertainment‘s Danger Zone imprint has the third issue of MISBEGOTTEN: RUNAWAY NUN!

What if Marilyn Monroe fell in love with Jesus of Nazareth and tried to save him from the cross? There is a world in which this scenario is not that far-fetched—the world of Misbegotten!

Half post-apocalyptic adventure and half absurdist satire, Misbegotten is an exercise in genre-bending wrapped around a Holy Grail journey through an immersive apocalyptic landscape of biopunk iconography.

Here’s a look at the covers, storyline and preview pages for this week’s new release
from Action Lab: Danger Zone on New Comic Book Day…

Sir Gottfrey arrives aboard Domus Mariae searching for Double-M. Father Micon takes the bullets intended for Elano and dies in his disciple’s arms. On Harlequin Island, Brother Ziggy, a Sigmund Freud-replika-turned-monk, takes runaway replikas to the rendezvous point with the Franciscans’ submarine that has Elano on board. Once inside the replika ghetto, Elano stumbles into the crossfire between two rival gangs and ends up captured by Klaudette.

What people are saying about Misbegotten:

I can totally recommend this to every sci-fi, clones, adventures and great story fans who want to take a breath from overflowing commercial books and movies. I like it a lot and looking forward what the fourth issue brings.” – Amazon Customer Review

“…the comic stands above the rest thanks in large part to a downright beautiful display by Justin Case. Highly detailed and well-structured characters populate an expertly designed landscape, as the talent attacks each page with realism in mind.” – SnapPow.com
