Anticipation builds as we draw ever closer to the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The film franchise, known for keeping information about the movie under wraps during production, has had fans questioning and speculating ever since the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. How does the recluse Jedi Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) train what may very well be the last Jedi in Rey (Daisy Ridley)? How will Kylo Ren continue to rise in power? Who is Supreme Leader Snoke? And how large of a role does the late Carrie Fisher play in this latest installment?
Those answers are forthcoming as the next chapter in the Skywalker saga arrives this December. But thanks to legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, who was given an exclusive photo shoot on-set and on location of Episode VIII for Vanity Fair, we get some terrific visuals of the cast in costume and some touching images featuring the late Carrie Fisher. Be sure to check out more of Leibovitz’s photo shoot, as well as the accompanying feature from Vanity Fair HERE.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15th, 2017.
