Watch: New ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Trailer Debuts During MTV Movie & TV Awards

You’re the Spider-Man…from YouTube!” – Ned Leeds

At last night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards, fans caught a glimpse at a new trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. As a segue into the new footage, Tom Holland and Zendaya took the stage and had a bit of fun with it. When the actor who will portray the web-slinger asked his co-star, “If I was to ask you to homecoming, what would make you say yes?”, he flipped (literally) before her very eyes even before she could respond. Not only did it show his spider-like agility, it seemed to be a fairly decent proposal method.

Upon its debut during the awards presentation, MTV took to social media to tweet the latest footage. Watch as Peter Parker has his identity revealed to his good pal Ned Leeds.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Donald Glover, Michael Keaton as The Vulture, Angourie Rice as Betty Brant, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Bokeem Woodbine as Shocker, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Homecoming swings into theaters July 7th, 2017.
