Two Years Ago Today – March 19

March 19th, 2015 had Manny raving about a movie that was returning for its 20th anniversary. Friday starring Chris Tucker and Ice Cube as Smokie and Craig, respectively, was making a one-day return to theaters on April 20, 2015. This 1995 movie has become a stoner cult classic film.

After 75 years, Archie Andrews of Archie comics and the whole Riverdale gang got a new modern look and was brought up to our current time with a whole new storyline created by Mark Waid.

At this point, we were also eagerly awaiting the Suicide Squad movie and devouring every piece of information we could find. When we found enough we gave it to our readers, unfortunately the end result was nothing like we expected and we didn’t get nearly enough Joker.

We also found out that on March 12, 2015 that the city of Springfield, Illinois had given keys to the city to Cobra Commander, the leader of the terrorist organization known as Cobra. Politics in the state of Illinois haven’t changed much since then, so maybe the villains were in charge the whole time and just decided to make it public?
