Before it has even aired, Big Hero 6: The Series has gotten a second season renewal by Disney XD.  The series will pick up right where the 2014 movie ended continuing with the developing friendship and relationships between 14-year-ol Hiro, his robot Baymax and the rest of the gang.

Returning cast include Scott Adsit as Baymax, Jamie Chung as Go Go Tomago, Ryan Potter as Hiro, and David Shaughnessy as Heathcliff. New names include Khary Payton as Wasabi, Andy Richter as Globby, Haley Tju as Karmi, and Brooks Wheelan as Fred.

The current cast list on IMDB does not include other rumored actors Alan Tudyk as Alistair Krei,  Genesis Rodriguez as Honey Lemon, Maya Rudolph as Aunt Cass, and Stan Lee as Fred’s dad. My guess is those characters will only have minimal roles in a few episodes. I guess we will find out when the series airs Saturday, July 7, 2018.
