ComiXology’s  support will be realised with a special 10,000 sq. ft. comiXology-branded space which will enable more fans than ever before to attend the festival. The convention space will also be complemented by comiXology’s sponsorship of Thought Bubble’s panel talks and industry events throughout the convention weekend. In addition, comiXology will release a special digital edition of the Thought Bubble Anthology, designed to celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary.

“In a short time, Thought Bubble has established itself as the not-to-miss show in the UK,” said Chip Mosher, comiXology’s Senior Director Communications.  “We’re incredibly proud to be this year’s major sponsor and connect with comic fans in the UK in a way we haven’t before by being a part of this great show.  In addition, we’re excited to help give even more readers the opportunity to learn about exciting comic books and meet the people behind the comics they love.”

Lisa Wood, director of Thought Bubble, said, “This exciting new relationship reflects comiXology’s support and investment of comic book culture in the UK. We look forward to building an innovative relationship that is built on our shared aspiration to bring comic books to new and existing audiences across a wide variety of platforms.”

About Thought Bubble

The Thought Bubble Festival is the UK’s largest event of its kind – an annual celebration of sequential art in all its forms, including everything from superhero comics to independent and small-press artists and writers.

Thought Bubble formed in 2007 as a non-profit-making organisation dedicated to promoting comics, graphic novels, and animation as an important national and international cultural art-form. Now in its 10th year, the festival has been extended over a full week with a jam-packed programme of events at a variety of venues across the city. The Festival’s aim is to cater to both long-time comic book fans and those who have never picked up a graphic novel before.

Thought Bubble seeks to promote literacy and artistic skills through the medium of sequential art. We see graphical storytelling as an important cultural art-form, and believe it is the most stylistically and thematically diverse artistic medium in the world.
