My problem is that NES is getting on this bandwagon a little late. I’ve already got an Atari and Sega retro machine that play all their systems old games and most of these old Nintendo games (at least those that I wanted) are either on my computer or loaded into my Wii. Why would I want another copy?

The new unit is also missing a lot of the good games such as A Boy and His Blob, Battletoads, Crystalis, Castlevania III, Duck Hunt and Dragon Warrior.

For decades Nintendo has been promising us gaming units that can play the previous versions cartridges and they never delivered. Instead they just re-released the old game in the new format. This is just another way for them to try and make money off of something they have rehashed a million times.

The one nice feature on this new unit is that you can use the Wii Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro for a second player, but if you really want a classic NES controller, a second one will cost you another $10.
