“DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” Season Two to Seek the Help of Mayor of Star City?

In our first look from recently released photos of the season two premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the Waverider crew look to keep the action rolling no matter where, or when, they end up. And if the new mayor of Star City, Oliver Queen, has gotten involved, you can be certain the show will kick off their sophomore season with a bang.

Newly released photos, courtesy of The CW, show Stephen Amell‘s Queen turning up the heat with Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), a face-off with Damien Darhk, and wait… is that Albert Einstein?

The Justice Society of America (JSA) will begin to form this season thanks to the addition of some new characters: Stargirl (Sarah Grey, who is scheduled to appear the first 13 episodes), Obsidian (Lance Henriksen), Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), and Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull). Joining them will be the returning Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) who first appeared in the season one finale.

Plus, we know there is a planned four-episode crossover event planned where each of The CW Universe shows one week will unite the cast of Arrow, The Flash, the Legends, and newest addition Supergirl. This season, all four DC properties look to distinguish themselves and establish what a shared tv superhero universe looks like.

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow play by their own rules when season 2 premieres Thursday, October 13 at 8/7c on The CW!
