Netflix in August: What’s Coming & What’s Leaving

August looks to be great for Netflix subscribers as many new additions are arriving to the streaming service, while very few will actually be departing.

Netflix Original series continue to roll out, and why not? Their original programming has been off the charts and it looks as if they are running with that momentum. Next month will series the streaming service debut the animated French children’s story The Little Prince, The Get Down (on the birth of hip-hop in the 70s), and Funny or Die Presents: Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie is capturing the 80s essence of Donald Trump’s book The Art of the Deal’ and is filmed as a period piece. Best part? That’s Johnny Depp as Donald Trump!

A couple films from The Fast and The Furious franchise race onto the digital service, along with hits like No Country for Old Men, The Wedding Planner, and Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

For television series, the popular Once Upon A Time comes with season five, the thirteenth season of NCIS becomes available, and the new docu-series from Netflix entitled Fearless, which follows the lives of bullriders as they work their way from rodeos in Sao Paolo, Brazil to the PBR circuit.

And for stand-up comedy, Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and David Cross all have specials for your viewing pleasure.
