CBS Unveils New Star Trek TV Series Logo and Teaser Promo Video

New Crews. New Villains. New Heroes. New Worlds.

CBS, while attending their upfront presentation for advertisers at Carnegie Hall in New York City, just released a teaser promo for their upcoming Star Trek series. In it, we are shown the new logo and the overall tone and feel for this new spinoff. Though production hasn’t gotten underway, the sci-fi adventure is scheduled for a January 2017 debut.

CBS Studios has brought in Bryan Fuller to serve as executive producer and show runner, Alex Kurtzman also as an executive producer, and Nicholas Meyer as a consulting producer and writer for the show’s script

In the United States, a special premiere episode will air on the CBS TV Network, thereafter all following first-run episodes will be available exclusively on CBS All Access. For other countries across the globe, the series will also be available on television stations and platforms.

Production on the new Star Trek series will be in Toronto, Ontario, Canada beginning this fall.
