Suicide Squad has yet to even debut in theaters but Warner Bros. is already making plans for a future film starring one of the characters in that movie, Harley Quinn.
According to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, an unmentioned female writer is penning the script that will feature Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn along with other female characters from DC Comics, such as Batgirl and Birds of Prey. The female heroes and villains movie has Robbie reprising her role as The Joker’s sidekick and also producing the spin-off for DC Entertainment.
As more information becomes available, PopCultHQ will keep you apprised of additional developments. Suicide Squad arrives in theaters on August 5, 2016.
