First Chris Evans plays The Human Torch in 2004’s Fantastic Four, and the 2007 sequel, and later gets hired by Marvel to portray a different character… Captain America. Looks like the tradition continues as The Human Torch from 2015’s Fantastic Four reboot, Michael B. Jordan, is entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a different character for Black Panther.
Jordan has been cast in an unknown role but it sounds as if he will be taking on a villainous role. We’ll update you as soon as that news breaks. Jordan will join Chadwick Boseman, who is reprising his role as T’Challa/Black Panther from the recent Captain America: Civil War, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue/Klaw, and Lupita Nyong’o.
Jordan will be reuniting with Creed and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler for his third time. Here’s the brief synopsis of the upcoming film:
T’Challa, prince of Wakanda, must rise to take the mantle of the Black Panther after his father, the king T’Chaka, is treacherously killed.
Black Panther is scheduled for release on February 16th, 2018 with production beginning in early 2017.
