All of the stars of ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ on Netflix will be on hand this summer attending Wizard World Chicago in August. Yeah, that’s right, everyone! Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson, Deborah Ann Woll, Jon Bernthal, Elden Henson & Elodie Yung will be making their appearances on Saturday, August 20th and Sunday, August 21st at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (Rosemont).
Charlie Cox is an English actor best known for his roles as Tristan Thorn in Stardust, Owen Slater in the second and third seasons of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, and Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Marvel’s Daredevil TV series by Netflix. Cox, who will reprise the “Daredevil” character in the upcoming spinoff “The Defenders,” has also had a key role in The Theory of Everything. St. Louis marked his first Wizard World appearance during the first weekend of April 2016.
(Actor – Daredevil [Foggy Nelson]; The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 & 2 [Pollux]; The Mighty Ducks Trilogy)
Elden Henson is an American actor. He is best known for playing Matt Murdock’s partner and best friend, Foggy Nelson in Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix and Fulton Reed in the Mighty Ducks trilogy with Emilio Estevez.

Deborah Ann has joined teams with the entertainment powerhouse Netflix in its new original action-drama Marvel’s Daredevil. Epitomizing both the “action” and the “drama” of the genre, Woll plays ‘Karen Page’—an enigmatic character at the helm of the series’ dramatic turns, most of which send her crashing into the life of co-star Charlie Cox’s character, ‘Matt Murdock.’
Woll is no stranger to dramatic roles. She skyrocketed to fame as the wildly popular baby-vamp ‘Jessica Hamby’ on HBO’s True Blood. During her hiatus from “True Blood,” she was cast in such films as “Mother’s Day” (2010), “Little Murder” (2011), “Seven Days in Utopia” (2011), “Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You” (2011), “Catch .44” (2011), “Ruby Sparks” (2012), “Highland Park” (2013), “Meet Me in Montenegro” (2014), and “Forever” (2015). More recently, Woll is set to star in “The Automatic Hate,” alongside Joseph Cross and Adelaide Clemens. The indie drama premiered in the Narrative Spotlight category at SXSW 2015. Other tv credits include guest-starring roles in shows such as “Life,” “ER,” “The Mentalist,” and “My Name is Earl.”
(Actress – Daredevil [Claire Temple]; Sin City; Sin City: A Dame to Kill For [Gail]; Men in Black II; Clerks II)
Rosario Dawson has garnered praise for her numerous leading roles with today’s hottest film actors and directors, making her one of Hollywood’s most sought after leading ladies. Dawson was awarded the “Best Actress in a Motion Picture” Award at the 2009 NAACP Image Awards for her performance in Seven Pounds.
Dawson made a huge impact in the 2005 Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller film noir drama Sin City and the crime-thriller sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Dawson also co-starred in the Oliver Stone epic Alexander alongside an all-star cast including Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, and Jared Leto. She was also seen co-starring with Dwayne Johnson and Christopher Walken in Universal’s action/comedy The Rundown.
Dawson’s other film credits include: Spike Lee’s He Got Game, Light it Up, Josie and the Pussycats, and of course Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix.
(Actor – Daredevil [Frank Castle/The Punisher]; The Walking Dead; The Wolf of Wall Street)
Jon Bernthal is known for his roles as Shane Walsh on the AMC television series The Walking Dead (He was nominated for the Breakout Performance – Male Award at the 2011 Scream Awards for his performance) and as Joe Teague in the TNT series Mob City, as well as for his roles in films such as The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Fury (2014), and Sicario (2015). He portrays Frank Castle / The Punisher in the second season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Netflix series Daredevil.
Since 2002, Bernthal has performed in over 30 plays regionally and Off-Broadway, including many with his own award-winning theatre company, Fovea Floods. In 2009, Bernthal had a supporting role in the Ben Stiller comedy film Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian as mobster Al Capone. Bernthal, a frequent Wizard World guest, will next star in the Irish action thriller film Pilgrimage, alongside Tom Holland and Richard Armitage.
(Actress – Daredevil [Elektra Natchios]; Gods of Egypt; G.I. Joe: Retaliation; The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)
Elodie Yung stars in the second season of the Marvel/Netflix series DAREDEVIL, playing the ‘electrifying’ superhero Elektra Natchios. DAREDEVIL, created by Drew Goddard, is an Emmy nominated Action/Crime Drama starring Rosario Dawson, Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Wool among others. DAREDEVIL premiered to rave reviews on March 18, 2016.
Elodie received attention in the US by booking her THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO in the role of “Miriam Wu” for the David Fincher film. She followed that up by booking the lead role of “Jinx” in GI JOE 2: RETALIATION opposite Dwayne Johnson and directed by Jon Chu. Yung can be seen starring as the female lead in the Lionsgate film GODS OF EGYPT, which released in February 2016. She was recently cast to star alongside Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman in Millennium Films HITMAN’S BODYGUARD. This high octane action film will begin production on April 2nd in London, and will be directed by Patrick Hughes.
