In anticipation for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital HD, Lucasfilm has released a teaser trailer for the deleted scenes found in the special features of the film. Yes, a trailer for deleted scenes.
Often deleted scenes tend to not be of any significance. Usually when watching them you realize just why they cut them from the film. The shots from this teaser, however, show some pretty exciting images. Kylo Ren aboard the Millenium Falcon, Han Solo accompanied by Finn, Chewbacca, and Maz Kanata, more troopers from the First Order and some potentially good action scenes.
Director J.J. Abrams has mentioned that Maz actually shows off her Force powers in one of the deleted scenes. Also, we will be witness to Maz’s bar, Finn at the attack on Jakku, Poe Dameron and the X-Wing pilots in action, a snowspeeder chase, Rey’s involvement with the Resistance, and more on General Leia and her role.
