Want To Meet Stan Lee In Canada? Better Do It Quick – Lee Announces The End Of Appearances

Stan Lee, the widely-recognized creator of Marvel Comics, has announced he will soon be ceasing live appearances. “The Man” himself has had a career spanning over 7 decades! But the living legend in the comic book world says he feels it’s time.

Lee announced that his appearance at Fan Expo Canada, in Toronto on Sept. 1-4, 2016, will be his last in the Great White North: “It’s so pleasant to go somewhere where people like you and want to hear what you have to say,” he said. “It’s very flattering. But I’m 93 years old. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to do it. I want to make this one big event.

A Toronto reporter hailed that the way Mr. Lee was still knocking out of the park, he still has it in him. To which Stan quipped,

Well, I can’t run the marathon and win the way I used to.”

No words as to Stan’s final U.S. appearance. He already stopped making appearances in Europe in 2014.
