What we come to realize today with The People v. O.J. American Crime Story, from creators Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, we were ALL WRONG! The hit new FX Network TV show, that is a side spin-off of the American Horror Story franchise which promises to blow the lid off of every notion the public was aware of, along with blowing people’s minds away with some outstanding, riveting, acting from an all-star cast. A cast of actors that have to pull off incredible feats of range of characters with so much ego or vulnerability in the vastly different personalities involved during the O.J. case.
like, did you know, O.J. miserably failed a lie detector test? The twisted awkwardness of the funeral as O.J. laid one final kiss to the forehead of the woman he claimed to love but we all know, he ultimately killed. Did you know Simpson almost killed himself in one of the Kardashian sisters’ room, or how O.J. and Al Cowlings (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) got in the white Bronco that started the whole LIVE on TV car chase? Did you know O.J.’s first words were when the police told him his wife was deceased?

From American Horror Story comes Sarah Paulson who plays the high-strung but very driven Marcia Clark the head prosecutor in the O.J. case. Cuba Gooding Jr. the Oscar award-winning actor (Jerry Maguire) delivers a frightening look into a man who everyone thought was the most kind gentle person in the world who was hiding major anger issues. David Schwimmer (Friends) plays the lost soul of long-time friend Robert Kardashian who is caught up in the whirlwind of it all by being a good loyal friend. Then we come to the BRILLIANT actors John Travolta portraying Robert Shapiro and Courtney B. Vance who plays the enigmatic Johnny Cochran. These two performances are the backbone of this emotionally charged crime drama.
The People v. O.J. American Crime Story is a powerhouse of a show, a true-to-life drama that will keep you dumbfounded and numb while watching it. This show literally takes your breath away fueling all ranges of emotions, a show that will grip your heart right out of your chest.
