Grandfathered is cute, it is really cute and it is also very funny. A show that doesn’t try to push limits just to push limits sake, but Grandfathered takes itself as seriously as it should. John Stamos at 50 is a fun lovable actor and audiences really like him. He plays the part of an image cautious arrogant rich prick pretty well but when it comes down to playing his part of a confused Grandfather “Jimmy Martino” who had no knowledge of how to deal with an adult Son much less an infant baby, is just priceless. Grandfathered is absolutely endearing to the heart, well written and well acted. It comes off believable sincere and the writing is on-point with relevant humor and actors that have even better comedic timing. The ex-girlfriend (mother of his newly found Son) “Sara” played by Paget Brewster is well done, which goes to show how great the supporting cast is. By the end of each episode you will love the cast (Josh Peck, Christina Milian) more and more. This show will stick around as long as the actors involved want to stay on board (since Stamos is producing and acting in Fuller House on Netflix), or the network losses faith, whichever comes first.
