SDCC Exclusive Trailer:
We finally meet the main characters of the show and learn why we have been told from the start that this would be more of a family oriented series with a stronger emphasis on heart-gripping fear. Main leads (The Last Airbender) star Cliff Curtis is cast as a divorced teacher ‘Travis’, alongside (Gone Girl) co-star Kim Dickens who is a high school guidance counselor named ‘Madison’. The two are already a barely functioning new couple dealing with the stress of trying to raise their kids together. Also cast in the role of Madison’s two children from a previous marriage are (Harry Potter alum) Frank Dillane and (The 100 star) Alycia Debnam Carey. (Orange is the New Black star) Elizabeth Rodriguez, Ruben Blades and Mercedes Mason also round out the ensemble, with recently picked up (Southland‘s) Shawn Hatosy. With a family full of unsuspecting victims to the impending doom that looms around the bend, it will only take time for new characters to begin dropping as all hell goes lose around them. This is the apocalypse…the beginning of the end!!
If you are already a fan of The Walking Dead and have followed that show from its inception you may have always been wondering ‘When did it all begin? How did the zombie apocalypse all start? What happened to make it all go wrong?’ Fear The Walking Dead may not answer all those questions, it will lead you in the right direction. It’s a mad mad world and we finally get to see it all come to fruition as any horror fan loves….with brutal, violent, macabre zombie suspense!
