“The Gallows” Horror Movie Has Teens Afraid of Charlie Charlie in Frightening Trailers!

The Gallows is looking to scare the living $#!% out you and the trailers are doing a pretty damn good job of hyping it up!

I have to say. Blumhouse and Warner Brothers pictures have been doing a fantastic job of putting the fear back into today’s youth. In a string of horror movies made in the first person POV camera that traditional horror fans loath but kids today love. This new type of horror genera also involves the use of social media to hype up the films release, which seems to be the trend in Hollywood. Let’s not forget the recent “UnFriended” that fell short to please hardcore horror fans but still managed to gain an underground following.

A Look at “Unfriended”

The Gallows seems to follow the same formula of over-hyped fly by night horror with online trailers. But once again this kind of film doesn’t appeal to my taste but I do see a big follow for The Gallows. From the first few TV spots that give a glimpse of the back story of a play gone wrong and the new cult game played by kids “Charlie Charlie”, they all seem pretty creepy as hell! Then comes the UK trailer we found (that ones at the bottom)…….that one makes you check your pants for any leaks! Don’t say his name………

Don’t say his name……..

Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.

From Blumhouse, the producer of Paranormal Activity and Insidious, THE GALLOWS is in theaters July 10th.
