Variant covers of comic books are all the craze lately.  Both of the big two publishers (Marvel and DC) have been offering variants of nearly every title/issue released (DC more so). • A-Force #4
  • All-New Hawkeye #5
  • Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #4
  • Ant-Man: Last Days #1
  • Civil War #3
  • Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars #4
  • Groot #3
  • Guardians of Knowhere #3
  • House of M #1

True Believers

The following month, September, Marvel will be offering comics for $1!  Yes, you heard right!  These introductory comics will be #1 issues and will feature their “Women of Marvel” variants.  These books are a great starting point for any comic fan to jump into the series.

It is refreshing to see Marvel spotlighting these books that feature female leads.  These series have received rave reviews for their storytelling and/or their artwork.  Who is looking forward to this upcoming fall’s releases?  I am!!!
