Marvel Comics and ComiXology digital comics are having a blowout “May the 4th Be With You” Star Wars sale! With titles ranging from long time original Star Wars Marvel comic series that debuted at the same time the movies did in 1977 to some of the newer instant classics from Dark Horse Comics like Star Wars Tales. To even some out of this world – manga type versions of the great galactic saga created by George Lucas so long ago.

This is a fantastic way to add some great Star Wars stories. I will rank my personal favorites and best deal for your federation credits.

PopcultHQ recommendation: Star Wars Tales to me was a groundbreaking new series with whole new concepts and behind the story tales of aspects we did not witness in the movies. The Vader tale was outstanding in this series but the other short stories will not disappoint you if you’re a true hardcore Star Wars fan.    5 out of 5 Lightsabers!
