On the heels of the newest trailer that has gotten us all hyped to see Mad Max: Fury Road, we get a new revelation.
Even though it has taken them 30 years, Warner Bros has plans to continue the Mad Max Franchise. In an interview with Esquire, Tom Hardy mentioned that he has signed on for an additional three films as Max Rockatansky. He said three more, which means four possible films to add to our collections.
However, even though his contract states three more he did mention that the studio is going to sit on them until they see what numbers Fury Road brings in before they move forward with any plans.
“Everything’s based on figures and how things are perceived. Inevitably it’s a business,” Hardy says.
Well lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that this movie is as good as we want it to be, because if it is everything we expect then the studio is going to have not choice but to make another one. Mad Max: Fury Road hits theaters on May
Lets get those numbers up by hitting the theaters, three four or even six times.
Even if the movie sucks it will end up bringing in the numbers at least during the first week, because that is where you will get to see the new “Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer.
