Finally, we get a look at just how they could transform Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Now You See Me) into the diabolical antagonist Lex Luthor for the upcoming Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. Take a look:
The villain for Zack Snyder‘s follow-up to Man of Steel is one of the leading bad guys in DC Comics. The director had this to say about Jesse’s character:
“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” Snyder said, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course … Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake,” says Snyder. “He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”
The film hosts quite a cast of DC’s heroes. Along with Eisenberg, we know that Henry Cavill will be reprising his role as Superman, Ben Affleck steps in as Batman, Gal Gadot is set to play Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa will be portraying Aquaman, Amy Adams is back as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White. The film intends on setting up the players to unite as the Justice League, which will be the next film planned.
What are your thoughts? Could Jesse’s Luthor top the other actors who portrayed him? Let us know in the comments!
